How We Met

Alexa & Graham inquired with us in January of 2020 and they were looking for a coordinator for their May wedding and they were referred to us by another coordinator in the area - Courtney from Peachy Keen! We met with Alexa over the phone to introduce ourselves. After that call, we had a May wedding at a venue we had been dying to visit, Cator Woodford Gardens!

Love Story

We love hearing how our couples fell in love - especially when dancing is involved! Look how these two fell in love in the most romantic way!

"We met during our freshman year of college at an arts conservatory in North Carolina where we were introduced by a mutual friend. We ended up in the same close friend circle that would hang out together often. We also had all of our film classes together due to being placed by last name, (R and W were in the same section!) and to top it all off we lived across the hall from each other! So we saw each other a LOT. And over time we became good friends.

During our sophomore year of college my best friend Hannah (my amazing MOH!) saw our connection and urged us to go on a date with each other. When we finally did we connected immediately and pretty soon we realized we had something special. During our time together at school we would work on film projects together, go on dates, and hang out with our friends. Graham decided to pursue another path his junior year that would take him back home to Atlanta and we both decided to try a long distance relationship which was hard but we’d visit each other often during the school year and spend our summers together. During the summer we’d go to baseball games, go on family trips to the beach, and often just hang out and play video games. After college, I was working up and down the east coast while Graham continued his studies in Atlanta. In 2015 I decided to move down to Atlanta permanently which would be the first time in three years we’d be living in the same city!

Over the next few years we supported each other as we balanced work with pursuing our creative endeavours which included producing a feature film together. In 2018 we moved in together and Graham proposed to me in December.

After a brief COVID delay we were married on May 29, 2021. It was the most perfect day!"

Down to Business

We had a few phone conversations talking about timeline and vendors before COVID hit and we had to decide how we were going to continue. With a month to go before their wedding, we made the hard decision to postpone the wedding until the summer of 2021. Since most of the planning was done in 2020, we didn’t reconnect to talk about wedding life again until January 2021 where we made a few adjustments to the way wedding day was going to run - and in our opinion, the adjustments that were made the wedding so unique and fun! We went with Alexa for a walkthrough at CWG with Jay, the venue coordinator, and Elizabeth from Zest to finalize our floor plan and details. We were so ready for Alexa & Graham to tie the knot after 2 years of being engaged!

The Big Day

We were allowed to arrive at Cator Woodford Gardens at noon and as we were unloading our things, Jay and his team were setting up the chairs for the ceremony and reception space. We began to look through all the personal decor Alexa had dropped off while Candler Park Flowers arrived to begin decorating the ceremony site. When Zest Catering and the entire team arrived we began dropping tablecloths and decorating the reception space. Alexa & her girls were getting their hair and makeup done at Ambrosia Salon and we were so excited to see them! The adorable husband and wife photography team, Alea Moore Photography, arrived and began setting up and getting ready for the day. RIS Limo arrived bringing our girls while the guys began arriving up the hill at the atrium and we were off to the races! Alexa & her bridesmaids stepped into their dresses and began getting photographed while the guys got their boutonnieres placed on them so they would be ready to go! In the meantime, Emerald Empire Band arrived and began setting up and Meringue Delight brought the cake. Alexa did a First Look with her father before we hid her away as guests started to arrive.

The weather was perfect as we began the processional. Alexa looked amazing in her dress and the look on Graham’s face when he saw his bride for the first time was so sweet! The officiant was a very good friend of Graham’s family and she did a great job blending Alexa & Graham’s story and making the ceremony so personal. Alexa & Graham exchanged their own vows before exchanging rings and kissing! They were finally husband and wife!

After the ceremony, we lined up the bridal party to knock out the bridal party photos. Next, Alexa and Graham took pictures with their family before going off and getting pictures taken of just the two of them. Once Alea Moore Photography was satisfied with the amount of photos we had, Alexa & Graham had a private moment together where appetizers were waiting for them. They gave each other their wedding gifts and it was so sweet seeing them receive gifts they both wanted but wouldn’t buy for themselves! We let them decompress for a few minutes before we did introductions, first dance, parent dances, and heard a beautiful welcome speech from Alexa’s Mom. Guests were invited to their seats in the courtyard to await their turn at the buffet and the weather was so perfect!

As people went through the buffet, Alexa & Graham walked around to visit with their guests. Once they visited with everyone, we heard speeches from Hannah, the maid of honor, and Adam, the best man, before Alexa & Graham thanked their guests personally for coming to celebrate with them.

Next we cut the cake and opened up the dance floor! Emerald Empire Band was so good and the guests enjoyed dancing to them! Before we knew it, it was time to send off Alexa & Graham! With guests lined up with ribbon sticks and a bubble machine, the couple ran through to get in their limo from Atlantic Limo and drove off!

Something Spectacular

A very special addition to Alexa & Graham's day was this lace veil. This veil has been in Graham's family for a very long time and all brides in the family have worn it on their wedding day. We love this family tradition and how perfect this veil was on Alexa!

Raving Reviews

"Megan is amazing! From the very start, her communication was on point which is big for me. From our first call she made it a point to get to know me, my style, personality, and took it all from there. I was comfortable from our first planning call all the way through our wedding day knowing we were in great, caring hands. Whatever you need to plan your day she has- lists, charts, checklist, schedule outlines, seating planning charts, vendor recommendations, and more!

Megan made the final walkthrough at my venue so smooth and she really helped me visualize how everything would be on the day of our wedding. Again, more reinforcement that I knew we were in the best hands imaginable for our big day. She was wonderful at the rehearsal and made it easy for everyone involved. She kept it quick without rushing it. Happy to repeat or go over something again if we needed it.

When the day of our wedding finally arrived she was perfect. From setting up everything at the venue to making sure everything was the way we wanted it and keeping us on schedule. She was warm and kind to our families and all of our guests.

Our wedding was absolutely perfect and it couldn't have been without her. I can't recommend Marmaros Productions highly enough! Megan and her team are practically perfect in every way and will do whatever is needed to make your big day exactly how you envision it."

Happily Ever After

Alexa & Graham had a day worth waiting for! We loved that we got to be a part of their wedding day and we are so excited to see them begin their married life together! We know you two will always have fun and support each other! Cheers to the new Mr. & Mrs. Waldrop!
