How We Met

Anna and Mallory met in Alpha Omicron Pi, the sorority they were part of in their college days. Since Mallory and Megan have been out of college for a few years now, it is always super exciting when we get an inquiry from someone we know from our KSU days and Anna was no exception. We first met with Anna at Henry’s (YUM - it’s one of our favs) just to give her an idea of what it is that we do, but before we even had our meals Anna was ready to use us and start the planning process!

Love Story

Something we love is when our couples have been together for many, many years and their relationship has seen many stages of life. Read how these two fell in love from Anna's view!

"Christian and I met at church. I lived in Rome and Christian lived in Cartersville. My current youth pastor moved to a church in Cartersville and it happened to be the church that Christian attended with his parents. My family and I started going there in the summer of 2012. I had just turned 15 and finished my freshman year of high school. I immediately had a crush on him. I thought he was so cute and he could make anyone laugh. That summer and school year that followed I became really good friends with him and a few other people in our youth group. We would all hang out together and go places as a group.

In April of 2013 Christian and I started getting closer we were texting all the time and whenever we were all hanging out together I wanted to be near him. Finally what felt like forever, Christian finally asked me to go on a date just the two of us. Christian and I went on our first date on July 30, 2013. I remember having to rush to get to our date on time because I had volleyball practice that morning. I had the best time with him. (Which I knew I would) and it didn’t take me long to know that I wanted Christian to be my husband one day. He was funny, kind, loyal, trustworthy, hardworking, and most importantly he puts God first. He was everything that I had prayed my husband would be.

I fell in love with Christian at 16, but I kept falling in love with him over the last 7 years. I got to grow and mature with him. From high school, college, then now we’re both in our careers. Christian was there for me through it all. I can’t wait for the next chapters of our lives together."

Down to Business

Meetings with Anna were always fun, productive, and involved good food! She was always on top of her vendors and we helped her make sure the timeline and details were figured out. A month out, we went to @Little River Farms for a walk through and to talk more about the placement of decor and how the day would flow. We were so excited to be working at Little River Farms and we couldn’t wait for Anna & Christian to get married!

The Big Day

There are certain weddings where we end up feeling like princesses and Anna’s day was one of them! We arrived at Little River Farms in the morning to lay out our table cloths, table numbers, and Anna’s decor. We made sure Anna had everything she needed while Cassidy Clark from Michael Christian Salon was doing hair and makeup on all the ladies in the bridal suite! The boys started trickling in and heading to the basement to play pool and hang out. A little while later, Amber Cather Photography & That Wedding Ninja arrived to capture the last few minutes of getting ready before the first look!

Stylish Stems arrived and began transforming the room into exactly what Anna envisioned! From a gorgeous mantel display to centerpieces to a boxwood wall, everything was looking so beautiful! We got to stand by and watch Anna & Christian’s first look before meeting the DJ/Minister, Matt Green, (who has known Anna basically her whole life) as he set up his very awesome DJ booth! As guests started to arrive, we moved Anna & Christian along with their bridal parties into their suites so they could relax a bit before the second half of the day began.

The ceremony started and the butterflies were being felt! Anna’s mom walked her down the aisle and these two couldn’t be sweeter. During the ceremony, Matt talked about Anna & Christian’s love from such a real point of view that really gave such meaning to the day. They braided 3 strains of rope for their unity ceremony and then were pronounced husband and wife!

After the ceremony, we did family photos while the guests went to social hour inside of the house to enjoy yummy passed hor d'oeuvres. We invited all the guests to their seats before introducing Anna & Christian and allowing them to do their first dance. With a welcome and a blessing, the buffet was open! Little River Farm's in-house caterer, Southern Charmed was so, so, so good! While dinner was finishing up, Amber took Anna & Christian back out for sunset photos and they might be the most stunning sunset photos we’ve ever seen! When we were back inside, we cut the cake from Cake Envy and danced with the moms before opening the dance floor!

Once everyone was all danced out, we tossed the bouquet and lined up for sparklers to send these newlyweds off!

Something Spectacular

Anna & Christian had a spectacular idea for their guest book. They ordered a custom Jenga set with their name and date on it for their guests to sign. So next time they play Jenga - all their guests will be there in spirit. How fun is that?! We love it when our couples have unique guest book ideas!

Raving Reviews

"They are the best!! I couldn’t recommend them enough!! I met with them in person starting about a year and a half before my wedding. They helped me with EVERYTHING!! They are so kind and so amazing at their jobs!! Megan and Olivia made my wedding day so amazing. They handled every big detail and every small detail. My husband even said leaving that we couldn’t have done it without their help because he was so impressed with all they did!! If you need a wedding planner these are your girls!!"

Happily Ever After

Anna & Christian have been waiting a long time to tie the knot and we were so blessed that we were able to be there to experience it! These two have such a fun love and we can’t wait to see how they continue to grow in their relationship with God and their relationship together! Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs. Bazelmans!
