How We Met
In April of 2022, we received an email from Rosemary, Audra’s mom. Rosemary had heard of us from another mother of the bride, Karen Jaudon, who used us for her daughter Sarah’s wedding. We love when people hear from us from former clients! Although Audra’s venue had an in-house coordinator, Audra and Rosemary were looking for additional help in the planning process with an outside coordinator since Audra is in healthcare and has such a demanding work schedule. After hopping on a call to see how Marmaros could fit into their day, Rosemary and Audra had booked us and we had a December wedding on our calendar in our old stomping grounds - Kennesaw!
Down to Business
We primarily met with Audra virtually since her work schedule is so demanding! The nice part about her venue being nearly al-inclusive was that it cut down the stress of finding vendors for the wedding day. Audra did want to use outside vendors in a few areas, so we helped her with communication and details with those vendors. We got to really focus on all of the tiny details that go hand in hand with wedding day early on which was a huge relief to Audra. In the fall, we met Audra at her venue, The Grande at Waterstone Events, to meet with the in-house coordinator and discuss all of the details of her wedding day. It was surreal that the next time we would be at the venue would be for rehearsal, but we were oh so excited!
The Big Day
Audra and Andrew’s day started with the ladies of the wedding party getting their hair and makeup done by A Glamour Affair. They spent the morning relaxing and just hanging out together. Their florist, Sarah, arrived and started putting greenery on the railing of the staircase which really made the venue feel homey and Christmasy. Kelsie Jones Photo arrived and got straight to business knocking out detail, getting ready, and the girls' photos. Once we arrived, we said our hellos and then started to work on setting out the fun (and very seasonal) decor that Audra had brought. After the guys got to the venue, Audra and Andrew had an intimate first look with one another before knocking out as many photos as possible before guests started to arrive.
It was a brisk winter day, so Audra and Andrew had a quick (but still so sentimental and sweet) ceremony. After the ceremony, guests were invited inside to enjoy some appetizers and drinks while Kelsie shot some family photos and captured some stunning couple portraits. We invited guests to find their seats so that we could kick off the reception! Their DJ introduced the entire wedding party which hyped the guests up to cheer on the new Mr. and Mrs. Caylor as they entered the dance floor. Audra and Andrew shared a first dance to “Nothing Else Matters” by Metallica before everyone started to eat their dinner.
We heard some toasts from Audra and Andrew’s people of honor before they shared dances with their parents. Once all of the formal dances had wrapped up, the dance floor was officially opened and the guests quickly made their way to the dance floor because they were ready to party!! To wrap up the night, Audra and Andrew’s guests lined up with sparklers to send them off into their happily ever after.
Something Spectacular
We love seeing personal touches on wedding day. Audra and Andrew had a big move to Colorado planned shortly after their wedding. To incorporate the start of that chapter in their life, the groom’s cake was decorated to highlight the mountainous landscapes of Colorado. We thought this was such a fun way to showcase what was next for them as husband and wife!
Happily Ever After
We loved getting to be a part of Audra and Andrew’s sweet wedding day. We cannot wait to see what the future holds for these two - especially with their big move out west! We know great things are ahead!
