How We Met

In March of 2021, we heard from Alyssa, Brianna’s twin sister, asking if we had availability to help with her sister’s June wedding at Barn South. We love Barn South, so we were ecstatic for the chance to work in this beautiful venue again. Quickly after reaching out to us, Alyssa booked us for Brianna and Ryan’s wedding and we had another June wedding on our calendar!

Down to Business

We quickly got down to business meeting with Brianna to discuss her big day! Most of our meetings were virtual, but that did not affect our level of productivity. In May, we met Brianna and her parents at Barn South to do a walk-through and to meet with Beth to nail down all of the final details - wedding day was quickly approaching! The day before the wedding day, we went to Generations Church in Norcross to rehearse the ceremony and you could just tell that everyone was SO ready for the next day to come because it was going to be wedding day!!

The Big Day

The wedding day started with the girls getting beautified by Emily Sullivan for hair and McKenzie Smith for makeup. They had a low-key start to their day where they were just hanging out with one another, getting hair and makeup done, and munching on some yummy food. We arrived at Barn South and started to sort through all of the decorations that Brianna had brought and started to lay them out. The team with Floral Endeavors arrived at the barn and delivered stunning florals for the day. Hannah, their photographer with Rooted Glory Photos, arrived and started to take some detail shots and those cute getting-ready photos! Before we knew it, Brianna was getting zipped into her dress from Kelly’s Closet and we had her ladies lined up with their hands over their eyes anxiously awaiting to see her in her dress for the first time. Meanwhile, the guys arrived at Barn South and headed out to the airstream to start getting in their suits from Men’s Warehouse. After Brianna did a first look with her bridesmaids and dad, we took her to the front of the barn for her first look with Ryan! Brianna and Ryan spent some time going all around the venue with Hannah to make sure they got every photo imaginable while Tops Catering & Events and Publix arrived with the delicious food for the evening. Before heading back inside for the ceremony, Brianna & Ryan’s wedding party met them out on the front lawn to take group photos, but everyone quickly moved inside when photos were wrapped up because it was almost time for guests to start arriving!

After we sent the family, the wedding party, and Brianna and Ryan down the aisle, James Rowell led a Christ-centered ceremony that was just beautiful! Before we knew it, they were announced as husband and wife and we were on standby for a room flip. Room flips are a lot of work but it is some of the most rewarding work for those involved! It is incredible to see a room completely transform and to see a couple’s vision come to life. We made sure to pull Hannah inside before guests entered for the reception so that she could capture the beauty!

Guests were invited inside and Brianna and Ryan were introduced (for a second time) as husband and wife! They shared their first dance together which was accompanied by live musicians and then both danced with their parents. After the parent dances, Brianna’s father took the microphone and thanked everyone for coming to celebrate Brianna & Ryan’s love and then blessed the food. The rest of the evening was filled with yummy food and drinks and meaningful conversations. Before the evening came to a close, we heard speeches from Brianna and Ryan’s favorite people. To complete the day, all of the guests gathered outside to blow bubbles and cheer as Brianna and Ryan ran through to the car to drive off to their happily ever after!

Something Spectacular

Something that Brianna and Ryan wanted to make sure to get photographed was a picture with them at the Get Fizzy drink cart. Since June can get quite toasty in Georgia, Brianna and Ryan decided to have Get Fizzy come and serve drinks like lemonade, peach seltzer, and tea to their guests to quench their thirst on a hot day! This was such a cute little touch to their summer picnic-inspired wedding!

Happily Ever After

It was such a joy to work with Brianna and Ryan! From planning meetings to the wedding day and everything in between it was so fun to hear about Brianna’s vision for the day and get to see that come to life. We know that Brianna and Ryan have a strong foundation and we wish them nothing but the best in this new phase of their lives!
