How We Met

Last February, we got a phone call from Michelle, the mother of the bride, who was looking for a coordinator for her daughter Christina's wedding that May. Their DJ, Simon, from Sifi Entertainment recommended us for their wedding. After a chat on the phone, we were booked for their day and we were so excited for their wedding at the Fernbank Museum!

Down to Business

We worked very closely with Michelle to make sure that Christina had everything she wanted for her wedding day. In March of 2020 we went to tour the Fernbank Museum and met our venue contact, Lauren. We saw the indoor and outdoor spaces and talked about the logistics for the wedding day. Thanks to COVID-19, we had to push the wedding to May 2021. However, Christina & Garrett still got married at Michelle’s home with a small group of very close friends and family. Fast forward to 2021, we began planning again for Christina & Garrett’s wedding/vow renewal and we were sure everything was going to be perfect this time around!

The Big Day

On the day of the wedding, Christina, Garrett, & the wedding party got ready at Hotel Clermont with Reel Creative Hair getting the girls ready for the day. We went straight to the Fernbank Museum, unloaded our rentals, and began to set up the reception area! We laid table cloths and started to set up floating candles while French Market Flowers arrived and began unloading florals! While we were decorating the tables, Christina & her bridal party arrived along with Kaitlyn Fellows, from Fellows Creative, and Jenna Elrod, the second shooter, who came from the hotel. The bridal party went into the suite to help Christina put on her dress while Hannah from French Market Flowers went to set up the ceremony site. Dennis Dean Catering arrived and began setting the tables with beautiful flatware and silverware and we followed behind with the menus and the place setting cards which had beautiful calligraphy on them! Garrett and his men arrived and we whisked him away for the first look with his bride before they got photos by themselves and full bridal party photos. Sifi Entertainment arrived and began setting up while Publix arrived with the cakes. We went out to the ceremony site to set up tape for the bridal party to stand on and to reserve the seats for the family as the violist & cellist started playing prelude music. Guests started to arrive and we were getting so excited for this ceremony!

We lined up the family and the bridal party and sent them down the aisle. Their officiant was a family friend who knew these two so well which made the ceremony so sweet. Christina and Garrett did personal vows, so the guests really got to see how well these two love each other! They said “I Do” again and we couldn’t have been happier! We pulled all the bridal party to one side while the guests were dismissed to the cocktail hour on the patio. After getting a few pictures with the full bridal party, the bridal party went to cocktail hour while Christina & Garrett got some photos with their getaway car. Their getaway car was a family friend’s classic car and they even surprised the couple with a license plate that had their last name and wedding date on it! So fun!

Christina & Garrett decided to join their cocktail hour and hang out with their guests instead of having a private moment or doing more photos. This was so special because they had so much time to connect with the people who waited a very long time to celebrate them!

Guests were escorted to their seats before we introduced the bridal party. After the bridal party was introduced, the guests turned their attention to see Christina & Garrett enter the room by walking down a grand spiral staircase! They went straight into their first dance before Christina’s dad welcomed everyone to the wedding with a touching speech. We released the tables to the beautifully decorated buffet! The food was absolutely incredible! Once everyone was through the buffet line, guests were given a glass of champagne while we cut the cakes and anticipated the toasts. The best man, maid of honor, and the couple gave speeches before the parent dances kicked off the dance floor! Dancing with the dinos all night was SO fun! This group was on the dance floor all night long and Sifi Entertainment really listened to the group and kept the party going!

At the end of the night, we lined everyone up and sent Christina & Garrett off in style! It was such a fun way to end the night!

Something Spectacular

Even though Sparklers were left at home, we still were able to send Christina & Garrett off in 2 adorable ways! Post-ceremony, the bridal party threw petals over the couple to celebrate their marriage and at the end of the night the guests lined up and turned on their flashlights as Christina & Garret ran through them and to the classic car waiting for them! Both send-offs were fun and totally unique to Christina & Garrett!

Happily Ever After

Working with Christina & Garrett was so much fun! We are so glad they postponed their event and had a party with all of their people! We wish them the best as they begin year 2 of marriage! Cheers to the Polacks!
