How We Met

Courtnie reached out to us in April of 2022 looking for a coordinator for her wedding. She asked us for pricing and we met over Google Hangouts to talk more about what she needed and how we could help her meet her wedding goals. A few hours later, we had an April wedding in the books! We couldn’t wait for Courtnie & Connor’s wedding day!

Down to Business

Planning with Courtnie was so easy. You’ve heard us talk about “auto-pilot” couples before and Courtnie & Connor were just that. Courtnie had everything secured and had thought of everything before we even had a chance to ask. She had a specific and beautiful vision in mind and knew how to get it accomplished! Meetings happened virtually since she was always so busy with her own business and kid - which we don’t mind because we are busy with our own business and kid as well!

The Big Day

Getting ready for Courtnie & Connor’s ceremony was easy. They decided on a reception-style seating ceremony (which helped us in the end since it rained all day on wedding day!). When we arrived at Costley Mill Park Event Center, Sandy Magaly Gudiel (who was the decorator) had been hard at work all morning setting up drapes, dressing the tables & chairs, and making sure everything fit Courtnie’s vision. Courtnie had given us a small box of decorations to set out so we laid out programs & place cards at each seat before getting the favors together. After we did the few decorating tasks that we were assigned, all we had to do was welcome guests and the wedding party as they began to arrive.

Chef A.D. with Chef on the Go and his team arrived and started to get ready for cocktail hour and dinner. K Vision Photography arrived and began getting detail shots as we waited for Courtnie and her ladies to arrive while our friend, Wes with Wes Brawner Events, arrived with his equipment and started setting up. KHair.Co had done hair the day before so TKO Beauty had the whole getting-ready space to themselves at Courtnie & Connor’s house.

Once all the girls were done with their makeup, they arrived at the venue to put on their dresses. Courtnie looked stunning in her dress from David's Bridal! We had little time between their arrival and the ceremony time so after the girls were ready, we lined up and began the processional! We loved how Courtnie & Connor hadn’t seen each other since the night before, it made their emotions at the alter so beautiful. Pastor David Garcia from Discover Point Church did a great job giving personal information about the couple and making the ceremony so memorable! It was finally time to announce them as husband and wife, these two were so ready to kiss for the first time in a long time! It was such a sweet moment!

During the cocktail hour, K Vision Photography got photos of the family & bridal party photos while we helped Katrina bring in the seven cakes and pointed Fiesta Feliz Rentals where they should set up the photo booth. Once everything was accomplished for cocktail hour, we lined up the bridal party and introduced everyone before Courtnie & Connor did their first dance! We heard a welcome and blessing from the father and godfather of the bride before the buffet opened. We released people to the buffet before doing the cake cutting, hearing toasts from some of Courtnie & Connor’s favorite people, and seeing the parent dances with the couple. Next, it was time to party, and boy did this group know how to leave it all on the dance floor! We might have even joined them out there a few times! Courtnie & Connor did a bouquet and garter toss before we lined up for a bubble send-off and Courtnie & Connor left in the Tesla!

Something Spectacular

Something we love about Courtnie & Connor was how they had their children so involved in the wedding. From walking down the aisle with special roles to walking out of the ceremony as a family, it was so nice to see how this family stayed together through it all!

Happily Ever After

Even though the rain kept us from doing all the things Coutnie wanted, this day was so special and fun. We wouldn’t trade this wedding experience for a sunny one! The love Coutnie & Connor have is so unique and strong. We know their family will have a bright future and we cannot wait to see where they go together. Congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs. Harris!
