How We Met
Lauren initially met found Marmaros through The Inderriedens - who we helped in 2021. Lauren & Sarah met up and they hit it off! Lauren & Sarah discussed Lauren’s vision for her big day at Little Tart, and they sat together for over an hour and a half just chatting! A match had been made. We were so excited for their wedding day!
Love Story
Lauren & William met the good old-fashioned way– online! But once they met, they knew they were a good match for one another. Their energies complemented one another perfectly, and they both knew that they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. They adopted a perfect dog child together (Griffin) and have merged their lives together seamlessly!
Down to Business
Lauren & William knew exactly what their vision was for their big day…which was a party to celebrate their love alongside their friends. They wanted to make sure the day was uniquely them, but ultimately they just wanted to make good memories with those they loved most.
After their first amazing meeting, Lauren, William, & Sarah met regularly to check in on the plans the couple had to ensure all systems were go.
All the planning culminated in a final walkthrough that included Lauren, William, Sarah, plus the amazing team at Bloomin’ Bouquets, The Foxglove team, and William’s Aunt Sadie, who led the charge on catering! The group was able to discuss logistics on how to bring Lauren’s vision to life on the big day.
The Big Day
Lauren and her crew kicked off the morning with mimosas and glam time as the crew from Bristle & Bride worked their magic on hair and makeup. Meanwhile, over at The Foxglove, the setup was in full swing. Bloomin’ Bouquets transformed the space with stunning florals, and we made sure every little detail—from the table settings to the ceremony chairs—was picture-perfect. The team from The Rental Place made sure the dance floor and stage was ready to go for a night full of dancing! By the time Lauren slipped into her dress from Wedding Angels Bridal, excitement was bubbling over, and the day was officially underway. Before the big moment, Lauren VanDame, their photographer, made sure to capture a sweet first look with the happy couple.
When it was finally time to tie the knot, the vibe was sweet and personal. Guests took their seats as Lauren made her grand entrance to the classic "Canon in D," walking arm-in-arm with her mom to the backdrop of hydrangeas first beginning to crystallize in the sun. The ceremony had everything: touching vows, meaningful traditions like the breaking of the glass, and lots of happy tears – all led by the officiant (and uncle of the groom), Bob Nemetz. As "You Are the Best Thing" played, Lauren and William strutted down the aisle as newlyweds, ready to celebrate with their favorite people.
And celebrate they did! The reception kicked off with a bang as the bridal party and newlyweds made their big entrances. Lauren and William nailed their first dance, and the buffet spread, created by William’s Aunt Sadie from the Fancy Pantry, didn’t disappoint. Drinks from WanderBar and TipTop Staffing were also a highlight. Speeches had everyone laughing (and maybe crying a little), and the dance floor? Total fire, thanks to Oxford Soul– complete with the Jewish wedding tradition of the Hava Nagila. The night wrapped up with a private last dance to John Mayer’s version of “Free Fallin’” with the vestiges of the party surrounding them as they soaked in their big day and a sparkler send-off that felt like something straight out of a rom-com.
Lauren and William’s day was all about love, fun, and making memories to last a lifetime—exactly how a wedding should be!
Something Spectacular
Three amazing things worth mentioning:
1. Lauren & William’s pup, Griffin, made an appearance at the cocktail hour and got lots of good pets (as a good boy deserves).
2. Lauren’s sister, Danielle, and her wife built the base of the seating chart. Lauren & William drove to the Carolinas to pick it up and then Lauren & William added the finishing touches by carefully cricuting all of the names onto the signage. It was a beautiful way to display the names of all of the folks most important to them!!
3. Lauren designed all of the matchbooks (3 unique designs) and paperware for the event, which encapsulated her classic but modern (yes, both) style!
Happily Ever After
Lauren & William’s love is so evident to anyone in their presence. How they love and respect one another is a testament to their commitment to each other. We are so lucky to have played even a small part in their big day, and we wish them a lifetime of happiness!
