How We Met
Lindsey & Thomas found us through Barn South! We are constantly coordinating weddings at the barn and to say we love it would be the biggest understatement! We are on their preferred list so when Lindsey saw our name, she reached out to see if we were free to help them have the best wedding day EVER!
Down to Business
All of our meetings took place either over the phone or on Google Hangouts. We would talk about details and logistics and get to know each other! We met for the first time at our walkthrough where we felt like we already knew each other. We were just 30 days away from Lindsey & Thomas’ wedding day and getting so excited!
The Big Day
On wedding day, Lindsey and her bridesmaids arrived at Barn South where Rachel Harrison started makeup and Beauty by Kendra began hair! The ladies were very chill and content with hanging out with each other! When we arrived, we began setting up decor and getting the room ready for both the ceremony and the reception. We went to grab the guys from the airstream and got the girls to come out so we could do a very quick rehearsal (we LOVE day of rehearsals) while everyone was paying attention and excited for the day! Lili B Photography arrived and began getting detail photos before doing getting ready photos as well! The Loaded Taco Truck arrived and parked in their spot, Free Pour Mobile Bartenders arrived and began setting up the bar, and Black Tie Events arrived as well and began setting up their DJ equipment and running a sound check.
Lindsey stepped into her dress from Sweet Elegance Bridal and we went straight into the first look with Thomas. His reaction to her is honestly the sweetest reaction we’ve seen from a groom in a very long time! Then, we did the same first look with Lindsey’s dad since he was ready to go! Lindsey & Thomas got some of their couple photos knocked out before we invited the entire bridal party to join them! Guests began to arrive so we tucked Lindsey, Thomas, and the wedding party away as people gathered and visited with each other.
It was finally time to start the ceremony! Since we had just run rehearsal, the wedding party knew exactly what to do and lining up was a breeze! The family went down first before the wedding party in pairs and of course, our smallest wedding party members got a chance to steal the show! Finally, it was time for Lindsey & her father to head down the aisle! Their ceremony was conducted by a long-time friend and we loved how personalized and sweet Lindsey & Thomas’ wedding ceremony was. They were pronounced husband and wife and the crowd erupted into cheers!
Since the weather held up for us, guests were invited outside to the bar while we did family photos and a few more couple photos. We were busy flipping the room to transform it into a perfect reception space! Guests were invited to their seats inside as we bustled Lindsey’s dress and got her and Thomas ready for introductions. Once we were introduced, Lindsey & Thomas did their first dance before guests were invited to the food truck for dinner! Lindsey & Thomas were (of course) the first ones to get their tacos where they went to the bridal suite to have their first meal in private. When they were done eating, Lindsey & Thomas began walking around and greeting their guests. We pulled our newlyweds over to the cake & donut table! Mike’s Killer Cakes really made 3 KILLER cakes that were beautiful and delicious. Lindsey & Thomas also got to share a donut from Delightful Donuts and Coffee (which were a MAJOR hit with wedding guests). We heard toasts from multiple people who love and are close to Lindsey & Thomas before we busted open the dance floor! They danced for many hours before it was time to end the night! We sent our beautiful newlyweds off with sparkers and the memory of a great night!
Something Spectacular
One thing we loved about Lindsey & Thomas’ wedding day wasn’t something they planned! Their best man and his wife who was also a bridesmaid ended their toast with a surprise icing which Lindsey & Thomas had to chug a Smirnoff! Later, while Thomas was taking off Lindsey’s garter, she also had a Smirnoff hidden in her dress so he was iced again! It was such a fun surprise for their day!
Happily Ever After
We loved everything about Lindsey & Thomas’ wedding day and we were so thankful to be a part of their wedding planning! We know the next chapter of their lives will bring them happiness and joy. Cheers to the new Mr. & Mrs. Caldwell!
