How We Met

In March we heard from Megan for the first time, she had heard about us from her photographer Chaise from The Tinsley Co whom we LOVE working with. Megan & Jake had gotten married in October 2020 in her parent’s backyard but they were looking to have a beautiful vow renewal and reception in October 2021. We had a phone call with Megan and her mom to go over what we offered and hear more about their vow renewal plans. We were offering everything they were looking for so we were so excited to begin working with them leading up to the renewal!

Love Story

We love hearing how our couples fell in love. Megan & Jake met by fate (twice) and their love story reflects how different and fun they are! Read how they got to forever by reading below:

"Jake and Megan began their relationship in the summer of 2017 after being introduced by a close mutual friend during a night out on the town. They had been in near proximity to each other throughout their time at Georgia Tech and finally crossed paths on the dance floor one fateful night. They lost track of time talking for hours on end and both went home with the feeling that they had met someone truly special.

They had their first date shortly thereafter at The High Museum of Art, and the rest is history. The two took on their last semester at Georgia Tech by each other's side, cheering on the Jackets on game days, cruising around the city in Jake's Trailblazer, camping with friends, and visiting their families in Lawrenceville & Augusta. They graduated that December and went on to explore South East Asia for a month before returning to their West Midtown apartment in Atlanta. Jake now works at a business strategy consulting firm, and Megan is a full-time artist who also runs a co-working studio for female creatives in the Atlanta area.

Megan is an effervescent visionary who loves people and spontaneous outings while Jake, steady and methodical by nature, loves athletics and his whiskey. The two lead very different but complementary lifestyles and have grown a deep connection through their mutual love of artisanal food, new experiences, their faith, families, and of course, each other"

Down to Business

Working with Megan, Jake, and their family throughout the planning process was a delight! From getting tacos in the city to our meeting the week of the wedding, everything we did together was fun and productive. Megan was so on top of all the details and kept track of everything in a beautiful spreadsheet which helped us make sure everything was going according to plan!

The Big Day

On wedding day, we started at Megan & Jake’s apartment where we loaded up all their details to take to the venue. Maggie, their florist from Cloudberry & Willow, was also in the apartment putting the finishing touches on the florals before also heading over to the venue! We made the short drive over to The Foundry at Puritan Mill, we began unloading all the special details that would make Megan & Jake’s day so special! Atlanta Party Rentals had already set up the stage and As IzZ was beginning setting up the band equipment. Megan & Jake requested we add on an additional coordinator for their hotel, The Bellyard, to make sure they didn’t need anything while they were getting ready and taking photos. Also, so that we could make sure that guests found the shuttle bus alright to be taken to the venue.

Chaise from The Tinsley Co. was already at the hotel knocking out shots and helping make the day so much smoother! Brittany Ansley, the hair and makeup artist, had finished all the ladies and Megan was already in her dress! We arrived at The Bellyard as Megan and her closest friends were doing a champagne toast to finally making it to vow renewal day, something they had been so looking forward to! The men were also dressed and looking so dapper in their black tuxes as everyone made their way to the lobby for a first look with their friends and portraits.

Meanwhile back at The Foundry, Bold Catering was beginning to arrive and laying table cloths. Also, Active Production & Design was setting up all the uplights around the room. We began setting the tables with napkins, menu cards, place settings and goldware as the bus arrived carrying the bridal party and the family. We did a very quick rehearsal before getting family photos and hiding the wedding party as guests began to arrive! The excitement and anticipation was in the air as family & friends began to sign the guest book and fill in ceremony seats!

Finally, it was time to begin the vow renewal ceremony! Megan walked herself down the aisle, stopping at the end to hug her parents & Jake’s parents before meeting Jake hand-in-hand. With sweet words from Matt Reynolds, readings from the bridesmaids, beautiful vows, and communion - this ceremony couldn’t have been more personal and romantic. Tears of pure happiness were shed, and these two were renewed in front of everyone they loved! We invited the guests to a cocktail hour while Chaise captured extended family photos and we, alongside Bold, began flipping the ceremony space to reception and making room for a dance floor. Megan, Jake, and their immediate family did a sweet champagne toast before going to cocktail hour themselves. Megan & Jake had a private moment in the bridal suite with appetizers and a drink of their choice before they also decided to join cocktail hour and mingle with their guests - so fun!

When the room was flipped and we were ready to go, the band began playing which invited guests to find their seats! You could already tell that As IzZ was going to ROCK later in the evening! We introduced the parents and the bridal party before the reintroduction of Megan & Jake! These two cuties went straight into their first dance before Pop-Pop blessed the food. Bold released the tables to the stations that were named after some places that Megan & Jake love to travel which was so fun! When the band took a break, we heard speeches from Megan’s dad, the best man, and the maid of honor before doing parent dances. Megan & Jake danced with their parents to the same song before the grandparents were brought in to dance with their grandchildren. We opened the dance floor by inviting guests to join the couple in a reverse anniversary dance - going from 40 years all the way down to dating. Which was a great idea to get the dance floor full before As IzZ lit it up and we danced all night long!

After dancing a bit, we cut the cake and Bold began passing around pieces of cake and mini cups of Jenis Ice Cream! Megan & Jake went out to take photos with their getaway car from Atlantic Limo before Megan changed her dress into something a little easier to party in!

Before we knew it, it was time to line up to leave, so we asked guests to line up in the hallway while Megan & Jake had one final private dance to soak in the remaining minutes of their beautiful day. Guests cheered as Megan & Jake ran past them to their getaway car. Their immediate family tossed babies breath flowers on our newlyweds as they entered the Rolls Royce and drove off (back to the hotel for an after-party)! Guests loaded up onto the bus to get back to the hotel to continue celebrating the newlyweds - what a GREAT night!

Something Spectacular

Megan & Jake wanted to make sure their day was very intentional. At their guest book table, Megan & Jake collected photos of their parents and grandparents on their wedding day and added a photo from their wedding day as a heritage table! Along with the photos, Megan had a book made with envelopes and beautiful pieces of paper so guests could write them a note or a well wish. Looking back through these notes is going to bring them so much joy!

Raving Reviews

"One of the best decisions we made for our Vow Renewal was hiring Marmaros Productions as our day-of coordinators. Megan & her team allowed us to fully soak in the joy of the day as we left all of the last-minute details and to-dos in their capable hands. From our initial meetings to the day after the event, we were absolutely BLOWN AWAY by their attention to detail, thorough communication, and can-do attitude. Each one of Megan's team members exuded excitement, warmth, and professionalism which put the wedding party and our guests at ease as they helped us navigate our way through the evening. We truly, and I mean TRULY, can not recommend these incredible women enough. Thank you Marmaros for making our special day one to cherish for a lifetime!"

Happily Ever After

Working with Megan, Jake, and their families was truly a dream. They were organized with their details and so kind to everyone throughout the process. We know that they’ve already done great things with their marriage and they will continue to grow together as they walk together into the future. Congratulations to the renewed Mr. & Mrs. Inderrieden!
